6th International Conference Set for Cape Town
The bi-ennial International Conference on Competition and Ownership in Passenger Transport (the "Thredbo Conferences") has completed a fifth successful iteration in Leeds, England. The conference was initiated by Dr. David Hensher of the University of Sydney (Australia), who organized the first conference, in 1989 ( Thredbo, New South Wales). Conferences typically attract approximately 100 participants from around the world, and are composed of plenary sessions and up to six workshops. Conference proceedings and workshop reports have been published through various approaches.
